Designed with pride from Canada, Surface604's Werk is a heavy duty commuter that comes spec'd with a 500W motor, Tektro Auriga hydraulic disk brakes, 9-speed Shimano shifter, and rolls on 27.5” x 2.6” Kenda Kwick tires.

Does anybody feel up to a 7,000 mile e-bike ride?

That's exactly what The SunPedal Ride team set out to do on a mission to promote clean energy and sustainable mobility. Their trip was done on the back of two different e-bikes, and aided by a solar panel rig to help charge batteries.

The trip started in North Carolina before heading northeast to New York and then turning west along the northern part of the United States, down through California, and finishing off in Texas.

Electric Bike Report's founder Pete Prebus caught up with Sushil Reddy and Luis Fourzan as they came through Tucson to talk about their ride experience and inspiration for this solar-powered electric bike tour.
