Given their rise in popularity fat tire e-bike models are becoming a must in any electric bike manufacturer's lineup. On Tuesday the Santa Cruz-based Blix Electric Bikes added such a bike with the all-new Blix Ultra.

The Ultra sports a 750W rear hub motor, 672 Wh battery, and hydraulic disc brakes. Blix hopes to distinguish the Ultra from other fat bikes by offering more customization options than you typically find on this style of bike - including a dual battery upgrade option.

Fat tire e-bikes have gained a lot of popularity in recent years. The landscape is full of contenders hoping to entice buyers with unique looks and features. On Tuesday another aspiring challenger to be king of the fat bike mountain just entered the fray; say hello to the all-new Blix Ultra fat tire electric bike.
