Aventon Aventure.2 ST Review | A Top Fat Bike With an Easier to Ride Frame!

The Aventon Aventure.2 Step-Through we’re reviewing is one of the more popular e-bikes on the road today. The first Aventure gained a large following thanks to features that satisfy a lot of riders’ wish lists: excellent handling, great acceleration and cruising speed, strong stopping power, long battery life, easy to operate, comfortable ride, and all this for under $2000!

When we were sent the Aventon Aventure.2 Step-Through to review, we wondered what the brand did to make a great bike even better. The answer? Fine tuning and focus on the little details. Aventon’s “fine tuning” has a lot to do with this bike’s new torque sensor, replacing the cadence sensor. This not only improved motor engagement with the pedaling, but it also improved this bike’s battery range and its hill climbing efficiency. While the little details include adding frame-integrated turn signals for added safety.

Lectric Announces XPeak; New 26" 4" Fat Tire E-Bike At Ultra Low Price

Lectric is one of the most popular e-bike brands in North America. The products they have made so far have largely been hits that dominated sales charts in their respective categories. So wherever they turn their sights towards next was bound to be a big deal. It turns out they were barreling towards one of the country’s most popular e-bike categories with their all-new 26” X 4” fat tire e-bike (the first time Lectric is not making a bike with 20” tires).

We know from experience having reviewed a lot of fat tire e-bikes that there are TONS of companies popping out quality and affordable rides. So in such a hotly contested space where many brands are all vying for customers’ dollars, what did Lectric do to set the XPeak up for success? They’re going back to the same successful playbook they’ve used before: give it all the features people want, make sure it has a few claims nobody else does, and sell it at “how are they making money on this thing?” prices.
