The sleek-looking RadKick is the newest urban-centric e-bike from Rad Power Bikes that aims to be both light on your arms and light on your wallet. Its clean step-thru frame and starting price of $1,199 are reminiscent of this year’s Lectric XPress commuter; the RadKick also matches many of its competitor’s specs while offering a few tradeoffs for others.
There are two versions of the RadKick: an entry-level model with a 7-speed chain drive and a higher-end version sporting a single-speed belt drive, a torque sensor, and an elevated price of $1,399. Regardless of drivetrain choice, the bike is advertised to weigh under 55 lbs, making it manageable for carrying up stairs or loading onto a bike rack.
