In this week’s e-bike news, more changes to the US government’s tariff policies are once again likely to increase prices. More specifically, the introduction of a new steel tariff has brands questioning how much of their costs will be taxed. The update has also caused Riese & Müller, a manufacturer of premium e-bikes, to pause shipments of new products to
the US.

Additionally, two brands have released new electric tricycles. Industry giant Lectric is now accepting orders for the upgraded 750W model of the XP Trike2. Puckipuppy’s new e-trike, called the Rottweiler, offers many similar features, plus one unexpected addition—a dual-shock rear suspension!
