Solar is the big news in this e-bike news round up!
 
There is the Dutch Solar Cycle that has solar panels built into the wheels in addition to the world's first solar bike path near Amsterdam.
 
Also in the news are new e-bikes for 2015, the world's first hover board, new supercapacitor tech, and a fun video of a mobile band.  
 
2015 Polaris Electric Bikes [VIDEO & PICS]
Polaris has revamped their entire electric bike line up for 2015.
 
They have 2 new fat e-bikes along with a number of e-mountain bikes and e-commuters/touring bikes.
 
The new Polaris pedal assist system also factors in what gear you are in when providing the assist.

The Luxury Pininfarina Fuoriserie E-Bike: $11k! [VIDEO & PICS]
If you are looking for a fancy e-bike to impress your friends, then this may be the one!  
 
This bike is designed by Pininfarina, a company that has designed Ferrari's and other luxury autos.  
 
The Fuoriserie is priced at $11,300 and there will only be 30 made.
