EGO-Kits Gravel Battle: E-Bike Racing Limited Only By Imagination [VIDEO]
EGO-Kits just hosted the "World's First Extreme E-bike Race" near their headquarters in Salzburg, Austria.

The course featured 45 degree climbs, multi step ups and step downs, and other crazy terrain features. Make sure you checkout the video.

Paul Willerton notes that this is the beginning of a new era of bicycle racing that can be held almost anywhere and in a cross country race could require the rider to optimize their fitness with the efficiency of their bike. 
EVELO electric bike tour
In May of 2012 Boris Mordkovich and Anna Mostovetsky set off on a 4,000 electric bike tour across the U.S. from New York City to San Francisco to promote e-bikes and launch the EVELO e-bike company. 
 
Boris put together this article on how they prepared for their big tour and provides some good tips on electric bike touring.
