New California E-Bike Law
California Governor Jerry Brown has signed into law a bill that clarifies electric bike regulations with 3 different classes of e-bikes and creates a model that other states could follow throughout the U.S.

This new California law clarifies that electric bikes will follow similar rules to a conventional bicycle, unlike the current law that regulates them more like a moped. 
Wallerang M.01 electric bike
The Wallerang M.01 is a Swedish designed and built electric bike with the Shimano STePS mid drive (w/ electronic shifting) and a modular front and rear rack system that bolts to the frame for carrying cargo.

Electric bike touring Ireland
Gary and Rachel Corbett recently turned over 10,000 km on their Haibike Trekking RX electric bikes as they continue their adventures towards setting a new e-bike long distance world record.  

The E-Bike Cycle Tourists initially set out to ride just over 16,000 km to beat the current record, but now they are aiming for 20,000 km or more to set a new record!
