Since the announcement of the new California electric bike law with 3 different classes of e-bikes there have been some questions as to how this affects where e-mountain bikes can be ridden. 

In this article Morgan Lommele, E-Bikes Campaigns Manager at PeopleForBikes, clarifies this question and shares the latest on an eMTB impact study being conducted by the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA).
